Douglas Chavers
In 2000, he earned his Associate’s Degree in Mental Health Assistant-Substance Abuse from Erie Community College (City Campus)

In 2004, he acquired his Bachelor’s Degree in Individualized Studies from Buffalo State College.

In 2007, he became an ordained Chaplain for the International Police and Firefighters Chaplains Association for the New York Chapter.

Completed credits at the Master’s Degree level for Student Personnel Administration at Buffalo State College.

Currently enrolled in Theological University of America.

Worked for New York State Department of Corrections from 1981 and finished his career at the Erie County Department of Detention in 2008.
