THE RIGHT TIME
Time is precious. We must not waste it. Our days are opportunities and we must use the time we have each day to make the right decisions for our service to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Each of us as Christians knows that our service to Christ requires preparation. The more committed we are to His service the more preparation we need in order to serve Him. Jesus spent three years of His precious life training the disciples who would become His Apostles. The results of these prepared Apostles are evident throughout the centuries and even in our own personal lives to this day and the life of the Church. His training of these disciples made the people of the world to take notice and to make the most important decision of their lives.
As Christians, we know that time is not only an opportunity for personal development, but also an obigation to prepare to serve Christ and, therefore, to serve others. All of you who have come to the Theological University of America web site and are reading this message are aware of your decision for Christ and the obligation of service that your decision brought to your life. And now you have decided to further prepare your lives for greater service to Him.
Part of any obligation we have is to consider the best way to fulfill that obligation in the most efficient and effective way. Today, education is available in so many methods that were unimaginable to the generations before us. We are blessed with a variety of educational opportunties of equal quality to further prepare ourselves to serve Christ. There will always be the traditional classroom environment for preparation to serve Christ. It has been the foundation of education for many centuries and will continue to hold its place in educational philosophy. But, much has developed in education just in the past few decades that has opened to every one of us quality educational opportunities that are efficient and effective in delievering the same high quality of education. The most efficient and effective educational development that opened the possibility of education at all academic levels to us is Distance Education.
All of us today know the efficiencies and effectiveness of Distance Education: you can continue your ministry where you are and complete any degree you believe is necesary to serve Christ better; you can immediately apply to your ministry what you learn day to day through Distance Education; your cost of the tuition is enormously less than traditional education; you can schedule your own study times and you do not have to travel any further than your home or office to complete your degree. There are other efficencies and effectiveness that we all probably know that can be added to thosnee here. But these are compelling.
Distance Education through the Theological University of America is efficient and effective and offers you quality education at every degree level you seek. You will benefit from outstanding courses and professors, practical applications of course content to your interests in completing the course, and affordable education from which you will benefit throughout the years of your ministry, and, most important, your courses will be solidly based on the inspired Word of God.
