                                                  You may complete your degree through three methods:

                                         Traditional Non Resident                                 Supervised Self Study                                      Validation

Important Information:

The Bachelor’s degree is 120 credits.
The Master’s degree is 36 credits.
The Master’s of Divinity is 48 credits.
The Doctorate degree is 68 credits.

Each course is 4 credits. The dissertation or
a comparable project in the doctoral program
is 12 credits.

You have three choices for your degree Program:

Traditional Non-Resident Program
Supervised Independent Program
Validation Program

THE TRADITIONAL NON-RESIDENT PROGRAM

At the beginning of your program you may take 2 courses at the
same time. If it appears that you will be comfortable in taking 3 or
4 courses at the same time, you may discuss that with your course
Professor.

At this point, you should indicate if you have a special emphasis for
your major field of study and for your 2 minor fields of study.

SUPERVISED INDEPENDENT PROGRAM

If you choose the Supervised Independent Program, you are
responsible for the completion of your assigned courses, assignments,
and examinations with the assistance of your course Professor.
You meet once a week with your course Professor to discuss the progress
you are making and for any assistance he can provide you.

VALIDATION PROGRAM

The Validation Program is a combination of previous course work
and of your private study in your major and minor fields, and of your
extensive ministry experience or secular experience when applicableto
your ministerial and theological inteerests in your chosen fields
. You may be required to take course work to satisfy the number of credits required for your degree.
You will meet weekly with your course professor to assist you
in your course progress.

CRITERIA FOR CREDIT BY EVALUATION
The Criteria presents the various sources for credit toward your degree.
Read it carefully and submit as many valid responses as you can.

Degrees awarded on Prior Education, Ministry,
and Experience

Previous transcripts and certificates may provide for
all required degree credits

Ministry and experiences may provide for all required
degree credits

Courses may be taken to complete required credits

YOU MAY BE ASKING, "what kind of information do
I need to send for evaluation for credit toward my degree?"

The list of activities in the Criteria for Credit by Evaluation are
suggestive of the kinds of information from which credit
can be evaluated.

It is not necessary to provide information for every topic on the
Criteria. You should use the items of the Criteria that fit
with your background and preparation. You are, also, encouraged
to provide information on actitivies in which you engaged that are
not the Criteria.

Please send any questions you may have about using the Criteria
for Credit by Evaluation. We are most pleased to answer them.

CRITERIA FOR CREDIT BY EVALUATION
TRANSFER CREDITS

All course credit from universities, colleges, Bible schools and
institutes, and seminaries with C or higher grades.

Seminars, workshops, lectureships, professional education

For the religious seminars, workshops, lectureships, please
provide the overall theme of each, the location of each, the
dates of each, and your level of participation.

For professional employment, please provide the name of your
professional employment at the time, your professional duties
responsibilities at the time of the professional employment, and
specific titles of your employment, the dates and locations.

How long did you work in each of your professional employments?

What was your last rank or position in each of your professional
employments?

MINISTERIAL PREACHING

Topical Preaching

Expository Preaching

Please send only the following information about the sermons:

1. the topic or book of the Bible;
2. the year the sermons were preached;
3. the number of sermons preached per topic/per book
of the Bible for the year.

Initially, please send only your topical and expository
selections for two complete years.
